Design Interactive Inc., a company focused on augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) training solutions for fleet personnel, venders and OEMs, recently announced the release of its program Remote Collaboration Video Calling (RCVC).
This program, used with Design Interactive’s AUGMENTOR device, connects technicians to expert sources and real-time procedure access.
“With our Remote Collaboration Video Calling, technicians now have the ability when they are working on a truck to contact other technicians or experts and simultaneously see the procedures they need to execute in real time,” said Matt Johnston, division head, Commercial Solutions at Design Interactive. “With this new capability, the AUGMENTOR platform becomes a highly interactive device that speeds up the technician’s ability to solve a problem or complete a repair correctly.”
The RCVC connects technicians with several sources instantly. Sources include other technicians, managers and training personnel, but also procedures, and OEM and manufacturer’s technical center.
Technicians can access procedures while on a call.
